Angelo began his professional career as a school music teacher, gaining over a decade of teaching experience in primary schools and high schools. During that time, he also worked as a video games reviewer, news writer, and TV presenter, which sparked his interest in videography and editing.

After honing his skills in these new areas, Angelo decided to return to university to study filmmaking and journalism at UniSA, where he also developed an interest in VFX. In 2023, having transitioned away from school teaching, he completed a Graduate Certificate in Compositing and Tracking at RSP. This led to his first VFX job as a Paint & Roto Artist in Sydney. He returned to RSP in 2024 as a Teaching Assistant in the Compositing and Tracking program, merging his long-developed teaching skills with his newfound passion for visual effects.
