We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Systems Administrator to join our Adelaide office. Location: Adelaide, Australia.   Position Overview As a systems administrator you combine your experience with your hands-on expertise to work with a small close-knit team of dedicated technical specialists, across a diverse range of IT infrastructure, building management, and security functions. You will need to have excellent communication skills, implement infrastructure improvements, all the while supporting the existing systems with minimal impact on service delivery. Visual effects experience is desirable, but not necessary.     Responsibilities
  • Deliver improvements supported by processes, procedures and policies that ensure it is done efficiently with minimal disruption
  • Support the entire IT Infrastructure while maximising performance and uptime
  • Maximise business continuity with incident management and disaster recovery
  • Facilitate and coordinate building maintenance issues
  • Maintain strict adherence to industry content security guidelines
  • Continue creation and ongoing management of documentation
  Required skills and experience General experience:
  • Network administration
  • Linux systems administration
  • Troubleshooting IT issues and complex problem solving
  • Writing documentation
  • Work with outsourcing providers and vendors as required
Technical competencies in some of the following:
  • Networking (BGP, Spine-Leaf topology, Palo Alto Firewalls)
  • Systems and server administration (Linux is essential, Windows and macOS experience beneficial)
  • Virtualisation (KVM)
  • Scripting (ideally Python, Bash, optionally PowerShell)
  • Database administration (PostgreSQL)
  • Monitoring systems (Check_MK, Grafana, Graylog)
  • Enterprise storage management (SAN, NAS, ZFS, NFS)
  • Cloud technologies (Google Cloud, AWS, etc)
  • User management (LDAP)
  • Microsoft Ecosystem (Office365, SharePoint Online, Azure, AD)
  • Building maintenance and security
  • MPAA/TPN content security
  • Server room engineering (power, cooling, etc.)
  • DevOps experience is a bonus
