RSP is focussed on attracting the world's best local and international talent to our beautiful city. We are currently seeking a mid level Recruiter & HR Generalist who offers exceptional teamwork, communication and attention to detail. Applicants with an understanding of visual effects would naturally be preferred, however not a deal breaker. As a recruiter, you will strive to present quality applicants who match position requirements and who are in alignment with our values. Key HR responsibilities will require you to help maintain existing systems and processes, while supporting high numbers of inbound / outbound employees and existing staff. This is a highly flexible position in which each day varies from the next, so you will need to remain adaptable and be comfortable with change.

Employment period: Long-term position with an immediate start.

Location: Adelaide, Australia. This position is open to Australian and New Zealand applicants, and those who hold the right to work in Australia.

Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for applicants with pre-existing recruitment or HR generalist experience. The position is ideally suited to applicants keen to engage in a fast-paced, high-service industry. Applicants who are succinct, proactive, professional and well organised will be highly regarded. As you become more exposed to company and industry nuances, your responsibilities will naturally broaden, allowing you to take on more complex and challenging briefs.

Substantial support will be offered to help you develop & achieve goals, however your own willingness to learn, absorb and quickly evolve, will be a key factor in your success. Examples demonstrating attitude, attention to detail and service focussed mindset will support your application.

  • Post job advertisements. Participate and influence advertising campaigns. Identify improvements to marketing initiatives. Update social media pages with recruitment data.
  • Perform pre-interview checks, determining candidate suitability and viability.

  • Coordinate and run interviews, booking resources across multiple timezones. Follow up and maintain contact, further developing relationships. Complete reference checks.
  • Ensure negotiated salary and benefits are fair, reasonable and in-line with budgetary expectations.
  • Submit offers for employment to approved applicants, tracking progress in an employee database.

Preferred skills and experience
  • Previous experience in either recruitment &/or Human Resources.
